Twenty years into design, what I care about most hasn't changed: working with people who want to figure something out, and being someone in their corner who wants them to succeed. Brand identity, user interfaces, illustration, creative consulting. I bring my full toolkit to every project: the visual craft, the strategic thinking, the cross-disciplinary range. But the part that matters has always been the conversation beneath the work.
Good design rarely comes from one person handing answers to another. It comes from real collaboration. Pushing past the first idea, asking the hard questions, paying attention to what the client actually needs rather than what they first said they wanted. That kind of work asks for empathy, and it asks for patience, but the results are different. They feel built, not delivered.
